Meet your guide at the port gate for a warm welcome and a smooth, comfortable two‑hour transfer into Saigon. Settle into your private vehicle as coastal roads give way to the city’s vibrant energy, with your guide sharing insights into local life along the way.
Begin your journey in Saigon’s oldest cultural district. Walk through lively heritage streets filled with traditional shophouses, incense‑scented storefronts, and generations‑old businesses. This is where Saigon’s Vietnamese and Chinese communities have intertwined for centuries.
Step inside the 500‑year‑old Phung Hung Market, a bustling maze of local vendors selling everything from dried herbs to ceremonial goods. Continue to Ha Chuong Assembly Hall, a beautifully preserved Cantonese temple adorned with carved wooden beams, colorful altars, and intricate rooftop dragons — a true architectural treasure.
Return to the city center for elegant photo moments at two of Saigon’s most iconic landmarks: the historic Rex Hotel, once a gathering place for foreign correspondents, and the French‑colonial City Hall, one of the city’s most photographed buildings.
Stroll along Dong Khoi Street, Saigon’s most storied boulevard. Once known as Rue Catinat, this elegant avenue is lined with heritage buildings, boutique shops, and charming cafés. Your walk leads you to two architectural masterpieces: Notre Dame Cathedral, built with bricks imported from France, and the Central Post Office, designed by the atelier of Gustave Eiffel.
Enjoy a comforting bowl of traditional pho at a beloved family‑run restaurant that has been serving locals for more than 60 years. This simple yet soulful meal offers a true taste of Saigon’s culinary heritage.
Visit the Presidential Palace, a symbol of Vietnam’s political history, followed by the War Remnants Museum, where powerful exhibits provide deeper context to the country’s modern past. Both stops offer meaningful insight into Vietnam’s resilience and identity.
Explore a curated lacquerware atelier showcasing handcrafted pieces made using traditional Vietnamese techniques. This is an ideal opportunity to bring home a refined, high‑quality keepsake.
Relax on the comfortable drive back to your ship, arriving with ample time and complete peace of mind — the hallmark of a truly cruise‑friendly experience.
