Starting location / Meeting point: Saigon Opera House, District 1

Your tour guide and rickshaw driver will meet you at the Saigon Opera House in District 1. If you would like to be picked up from your hotel lobby or the cruise ship terminal, please let us know when booking the tour so we can arrange the pickup service accordingly.

Tour the City on a Rickshaw

Depart the hotel on your rickshaw with a driver, slowly traveling through different city main streets, stopping at colonial historic sites for a visit, and taking photos.

Taichi session at Tao Dan park with a private Master

Join a Tai Chi session at Tao Dan Park with a local instructor. You will learn some moves and learn to control your breath with practice instructions.

On Rickshaw to Thich Quang Duc statue

Continue to the Thich Quang Duc statue worship area by rickshaw, pay a visit, and listen to the story of how he protested against the South Vietnamese government by self-immolation. Hop on your Vespa, then continue your journey to the local wet market and take a walk through to immerse yourself in the local culture.

Travel to Chinatown on vintage Vespa

Your next stop will be the Cao Dai temple in Chinatown, District 5. Listen to your guide's explanation, take a walk for some photos, and learn about a new religion that has existed only in Vietnam since 1926.

Can we do this tour in private?

You can request a private tour when booking. Please add 35% to the join-in price.

How many people can join this tour?

This tour will accommodate a maximum of 18 guests, allowing more time for interaction with the guide, local vendors, and the opportunity to ask/answer any questions during the tour.

Do you provide pick-up service for cruise ship people?

We do offer complimentary service for cruise ships that dock at Saigon Port. However, for pickups at Phu My Port, there will be an additional surcharge of 50% on top of the tour price. Please note that our tour guide and driver will await you at the port gate upon your arrival. Look for the welcome signage with your name.

Can we settle the tour in cash?

Yes, you can settle the tour in cash when you finish. But there's a deposit of 50% required by our company policy, to ensure you will be joining the tour. The deposit will be non-refundable.

Do we need to bring cash for shopping?

I recommend bringing cash along, which will be easy to buy or shop for on the tour. Most shops accept payment by Credit Card, but some still do not and prefer cash.

Does the tour price include gratuities for services?

No, the tour price does not include gratuities for services. It is recommended to give 5% of the total bill for the restaurant, and 10%-15% of the tour price per pax for the guide and driver, as a token of appreciation for their excellent work.
