PICK-UP AT THE DOWNTOWN SAIGON OR PORT GATE OF KHANH HOI-NHA RONG PORT / DISTRICT 4. TOUR STARTS.

At 6 PM, your tour guide and driver will pick you up at downtown Saigon or at the port gate of Nha Rong/Khanh Hoi port in District 4. Please look for your name on the A4 welcome signage. Your guide will give a brief program overview of what you'll do, then begin the experience.

COLONIAL LANDMARKS DRIVE THROUGH & PHOTO STOPS

First, you will visit the former Presidential Palace from the outside and listen to the guide's explanation of Vietnam's history. Go back on your Jeep, drive past the Notre Dame Cathedral & Post Office, then stop at City Hall & the Rex Hotel for a photo.

VISIT XOM CHIEU NIGHT MARKET

Arrive at Xom Chieu night market and follow your guide to walk around and try different Vietnamese dishes on display by local vendors that you can't resist. Eat and drink till you're full, then we will drive to the floating village in District 7.

EXPERIENCE THE FLOATING VILLAGE IN DISTRICT 7

When you arrive, please take a stroll through the floating village and practice your bargaining skills to buy fresh fruits such as jackfruit, guava, and melons. This market is very authentic, and most residents living here are primarily from the Mekong Delta.

SEE THE BIGGEST WHOLESALE MARKET AT NIGHT - THE BINH TAY MARKET

Depart from the floating market and head to the famous Chinatown of Saigon, passing through District 8. Stop at the renowned Coconut Ice Cream shop, where the ice cream is served in a fresh coconut bowl, accompanied by a cup of fresh coconut juice. Discover the history of the Chinese community and learn about the early settlers known as "The Three Boat Men."

DRIVE THROUGH BASON BRIDGE & PHOTO STOP AT THE SAIGON RIVER OF DISTRICT 2

Exit Chinatown and drive along Vo Van Kiet Highway to travel under the Saigon River through the tunnel system built by the Japanese. Enjoy a cold beer with local snacks while watching the city's light show from the opposite side of District 1 in Saigon.

OPTIONAL STOP AT PHO HOA PASTEUR

If you're still feeling hungry, your local guide will take you to the famous Pho Hoa on Pasteur Street to enjoy a delicious bowl of authentic Vietnamese Pho before heading back to your accommodation. This family-run business has been operating since 1968 and is not a franchise, making it a must-visit spot for Pho lovers. On your way back to the hotel, be sure to grab one more Banh Mi for your supper.

DROP-OFF AT THE DOWNTOWN SAIGON OR PORT GATE OF KHANH HOI-NHA RONG PORT / DISTRICT 4. TOUR CONCLUDES.

WHERE'S THE PICK-UP LOCATION AT KHANH HOI NHA RONG PORT / DISTRICT 4?

Our guide and driver will meet you at the port gate holding a welcome sign with your name. You can use the shuttle from the ship or take a short walk to the port gate.

CAN THE JEEP PICK US UP AT PHU MY PORT OR HIEP PHUOC PORT?

Due to the long travel distance, there will be an additional fee for the transfer from these 2 ports of call to downtown Saigon to start the food tour. Please get in touch with our travel expert for further assistance. We are happy to help and advise on the best way to make you feel comfortable. Based on our experience with cruise guests from these 2 ports, they always took a shuttle to downtown, then started the tour.

CAN YOU PROVIDE THE PICK-UP SERVICE AT THE CRUISE SHIP GANGWAY?

We can pick you up at the cruise ship gangway with a port permit, which will cost US$25 per person, in addition to the tour price. Please make a note when making this booking. We will pay directly to the port authority where your cruise ship docks. A passport scan, the cruise ship's name, and the arrival and departure dates and times will be required.
